Peringatan hari santri memang moment yang khas untuk mengenang perjuangan para santri dalam membela kemerdekaan negara ini dan bahkan mempertahankan kemerdekaan negara Indonesia. Jika kita melihat sejarah, peran santri sangatlah penting dan memberikan sumbangsih yang luar biasa, sebut saja peristiwa 10 Nopember di Surabaya.
Parade peringatan hari santri Pengadilan Agama Pasuruan yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 22 Oktober ini dimulai dengan apel pagi dan pada siang hari pimpinan beserta jajarannya membagikan bingkisan di tetangga sekitar kantor pengadilan dan juga kepada beberapa orang yang dianggap berjasa terhadap kantor Pengadilan Agama Pasuruan.
Pimpinan dan jajarannya Bersatu padu menyatu dengan masyarakat sekitar, agar Pengadilan Agama Pasuruan diterima dengan baik di lingkungannya serta merangkul masyarakat dan menebarkan kesan pengadilan bukanlah tempat yang menyeramkan.
Ketua Pengadilan Agama Pasuruan (Drs. Muslih, S.Ag., MH) disela sela pembagian sembako menuturkan “Hari Santri kami maknai berbagi dengan sesama disekitaran kantor dan kepada beberapa orang yang dianggap berjasa kepada kantor Pengadilan Agama Pasuruan, agar kami bisa diterima dengan baik oleh masyarakat sekitar sebagai upaya merangkul masyarakat.
